PRIVACY POLICY

The information you (the “Prospective Delegate”) provide during conference registration will be safeguarded by sponsor firm SkyBridge Capital II, LLC, (“SkyBridge”) who may use it to keep you informed of relevant products and services. A list of 2022 SkyBridge Alternatives (SALT) Conference in New York (“SALT New York”) participant names/member firms will also be disseminated and may be posted on the SALT website (www.salt.org). SkyBridge does not share any nonpublic personal information with any nonaffiliated third parties, except in the following circumstances: (1) disclosure to companies that provide services necessary to effect a transaction that you request or to service your account; and (2) disclosure to government agencies, courts, parties to lawsuits, or regulators in response to subpoenas. In such cases, SkyBridge will share only the information that it is required or authorized to share.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; INDEMNITY

SkyBridge does not assume any responsibility for the protection and safety of the Prospective Delegate or any guests of SkyBridge, or for the protection of the property of Prospective Delegate or any guests of SkyBridge, from theft or damage or destruction by fire, accident or any other cause. Any security services provided by SkyBridge shall be deemed purely gratuitous and shall in no way be construed to make SkyBridge liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the Prospective Delegate. The Prospective Delegate assumes responsibility and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SkyBridge and the ownership and management of the event facilities and their respective employees and agents against any and all claims or liability of any nature whatsoever arising from the activities (or omissions) of the Prospective Delegate in connection with SALT New York. SkyBridge shall not have any liability for losses (in contract, tort, warranty or otherwise) incurred in connection with any typographical errors or other inaccuracies (such as in a Prospective Delegate’s name, address, phone number or e-mail address) which may ultimately appear in any SkyBridge poster, slide or other SALT New York material.

REGISTRATION VERIFICATION

Registration for the SALT New York is by invitation only. All registration requests are subject to verification by SkyBridge, which may include requests for additional information. The Prospective Delegate will receive an email confirmation upon SkyBridge’s acceptance of his or her registration.

Registered delegates may be asked to present photographic identification upon arrival at SALT New York and must display valid SALT name badges for access to all sessions and evening events. 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Prospective Delegate hereby consents to be a part of photographs, videos or other recordings taken at SALT New York and authorizes the use and reproduction of such by SkyBridge or any other person authorized by SkyBridge. All such photographs videos or other recordings, including any and all intellectual property in connection therewith, shall be the sole property of SkyBridge. To the extent such ownership rights vest in you by operation of law or otherwise, the Prospective Delegate hereby assigns all rights, title and interest in such intellectual property to SkyBridge. The Prospective Delegate hereby expressly releases SkyBridge, and its assigns, agents and employees from all privacy, defamation or other claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the use of any of the above.

AUDIO/VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY

No audio/video recording or photography is allowed at SALT New York without SkyBridge’s express written permission.

MEDIA AND PRESS

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Prospective Delegate hereby certifies that he or she is will not attend SALT New York as a member of the press or media, nor will the Prospective Delegate disseminate any of the content discussed or presented from therein via any media form (including, but not limited to, print/electronic/newspapers/journals/blogs/forums) without the express prior approval of SkyBridge. Failure to comply may be grounds for immediate expulsion from the event without compensation.  

REFUND POLICY, DELEGATE CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFER

Registration cancellation requests received in writing on or prior to August 1, 2022 will qualify for a refund, less a 25% administration fee. No refund will be given on cancellation requests received after this date. Should the original delegate be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge; in this case, please contact SkyBridge to update the participant registration details. Any cancellation or substitution requests should be made to info@salt.org.

Partial substitutions (such as for a single day or individual event sessions/evening events) are not permitted.  

SHIPPING POLICY

SALT New York registration is electronic only. No items will ship in hard copy via mail or postal service. The Prospective Delegate will receive an email confirmation upon SkyBridge’s acceptance of his or her registration, which SkyBridge recommends you retain for your own records. No tickets are needed for event entry; registered delegate names will be checked against an attendee list upon arrival at SALT New York.

EVENT CANCELLATIONS

SkyBridge reserves the right to cancel, alter, or reschedule SALT New York for any reason, including because SkyBridge determines in its sole discretion that SALT New York cannot be held as planned.  In the unlikely event of cancellation, alteration or rescheduling for any reason, the Prospective Delegate will receive a credit to attend a future SALT event. In that case, neither SkyBridge, nor its affiliated entities, nor its employees accept responsibility for travel and/or accommodation costs or consequential losses incurred by the Prospective Delegates as a result. SkyBridge recommends that Prospective Delegates arrange appropriate insurance cover.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

In light of ongoing concerns regarding COVID and communicable health risks more generally, SkyBridge will implement health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of SALT New York. SkyBridge will exercise reasonable efforts to utilize protocols that will comply with or exceed any local public health requirements and be consistent with then-prevailing public health standards as issued by relevant public health entities. Prospective Delegates hereby acknowledge that their attendance at SALT New York is conditioned upon providing adequate proof of vaccination via a paper form, a digital application or through New York State’s Excelsior Pass, as required by SkyBridge at its sole discretion. Compliance with protocols adopted by SkyBridge will be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at SALT New York and no refunds will be granted for non-compliance or for a Prospective Delegate’s inability to provide proof of vaccination. Additional information regarding the specific health and safety measures, and any necessary consents by you, will be communicated to attendees prior to the first day of SALT New York.

You agree that you will not attend SALT New York if within seven (7) days preceding SALT New York, you have:

  • tested positive or presumptively positive for COVID or other communicable disease or been identified as a potential carrier of COVID or other communicable disease; or

  • experienced any symptoms commonly associated with COVID or other communicable disease; or

Further, you understand and agree that SkyBridge may share any COVID-related information about you that SkyBridge receives as part of such health and safety protocols with public health authorities or other regulatory agencies, as required under applicable laws.

You agree to adhere to the precautions and policies contained herein and acknowledge and understand that you are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID, by attending SALT New York. Further, you understand that refusal to adhere to these policies and abide by these precautions may result in immediate removal from the event and cancellation of the registration, without receiving a refund. These precautions and guidelines are subject to change based on requirements imposed by federal, state, or local health authorities and guidance provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
