Ann is a commentator on global TV networks including the BBC, Bloomberg & CNBC. She also hosts market shows and CEO interviews for Public.com, broadcasting to 3 million US retail subscribers.

Ann is founder of advisory firm Threadneedle and General Partner of its technology-focused Opportunity Fund, backed by Alexis Ohanian. She was Chief Investment Officer of Wheelhouse, the US media platform, and from 2017 to 2021, Ann was a Partner & Investment Committee member at Cornell Capital, the private equity firm in New York & Hong Kong. Ann previously spent over a decade at Goldman Sachs and across her career has deployed $10+ billion acquiring industrial and consumer companies through leveraged buyouts.

In 2019 through 2020, Ann was CEO of leading US hospitality services company PureStar, where she executed on a major operational restructuring and moved to Las Vegas to lead the company through the COVID-19 pandemic. Ann is a director of Allure Beauty Concepts and has served on the boards of multiple public and private corporations.

Ann received her BA (Double First) in Economics from Cambridge University and was awarded a Kennedy Memorial Trust Scholarship to attend Harvard Business School, from which she graduated with an MBA as Baker Scholar (High Distinction).
