Maneet Ahuja is a Senior Editor at Forbes and holds the unique privilege of also being a past Forbes “30 Under 30” Honoree for media. She is author of “The Alpha Masters,” which sold over thirty-thousand copies and has been translated into five languages. Prior to joining Forbes, she was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University while working on her second book, “The Techtonics,” which was shortlisted for the FT/McKinsey Bracken Bower Prize for one of the best business book proposals of the year. During her fellowship year, she also hosted Spotify’s “Megatrends” podcast, which nominated for Best Branded Podcast by Digiday.
Previously, Ahuja spent a decade in a variety of capacities at CNBC, most recently as Senior Editor and Co-Founder of Delivering Alpha, the network’s preeminent investor summit. In 2012, she launched CNBC’s coverage of startups and Silicon Valley with the network’s Disruptors series, leading to the formation of the CNBC Disruptors 50 Index. Previously, as CNBC’s Hedge Fund Specialist and a Producer on “Squawk Box,” she covered high-profile stories such as Lehman Brothers’ insolvency during the financial crisis and launched hedge fund coverage for the network in 2008.
Prior to joining CNBC in 2008, she was a part of the Wall Street Journal’s Money & Investing team. She began her career on Wall Street in 2002 at age 17 in Citigroup’s Corporate & Investment Banking division as a credit risk analyst.
