Director, Investment (Energy & Environment), Temasek

Pieter joined Temasek in 2013 and is currently a Director in the Americas team based in Temasek’s New York office. Pieter helps to lead Temasek’s next generation clean energy and sustainable real assets investment activity in the Americas.

Pieter is responsible for originating and executing public and private investments across the capital structure, with a focus on the Clean Energy, Water and Waste sectors. He serves on the boards of Cypress Creek Renewables (solar power), Svante (carbon capture) and Eavor (geothermal energy).

Prior to joining Temasek, Pieter held senior investment banking roles covering the energy and resources sector with UBS, Rothschild and Barclays in London and Sydney. Pieter holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) from Imperial College London with First Class Honours.
