Sean Xiang

Sean Xiang is the Founder and CEO of Hermitage Capital, a technology-dedicated private equity firm with AUM of US$1.2 billion and teams in Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York. He has been involved in all phases of Hermitage’s development since its founding in 2017.

Hermitage invests across the value chain of global technology sectors, in particular Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Vehicles, SaaS, FinTech, Cloud, Semiconductors, and Internet. With its mission to partner with legendary tech companies and determined spirits and to generate outstanding return for the investors, Hermitage’s portfolio companies include Tencent Music (NYSE: TME), Lufax Holding (NYSE: LU), 360 DigiTech (NASDAQ: QFIN), SenseTime (HKEX: 0020), Airwallex, Horizon Robotics, PingCAP, XTalpi, SmartMore, Innovusion, Factorial Energy, ScaleFlux, WeDoctor and Ximalaya.

Sean has over 16 years of private equity and investment banking experience. He was named China’s 40 Under 40 Investors in 2021 by CYZone and China’s Top 100 Private Equity Investors in 2021 by ChinaVenture. From 2006 to 2016, Sean served in the Investment Banking Division of J.P. Morgan (Hong Kong) and Macquarie (Beijing).

Sean is currently based in Hong Kong.
