Greg Jensen

Greg Jensen is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Bridgewater Associates and is a Director on Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors.

He joined Bridgewater in 1996 after graduating from Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics and Applied Mathematics. As Co-CIO, Greg oversees Bridgewater’s investment strategies and research efforts with Co-CIOs Bob Prince and Ray Dalio. Greg is integrally involved in overseeing Bridgewater’s investment engine and investment talent. In 2010, 2011, and 2012, Greg was named one of business’s rising stars in Fortune Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40.”

Robyn Grew

President, Man Group

Robyn Grew is President of the LSE-listed global active investment management firm Man Group, which includes responsibility for ESG (comprising both Corporate Sustainability and Responsible Investing); Man Solutions and Man FRM; Central Trading, Funds Treasury and Bank relationships; Operations; Financial Crime; Corporate Real Estate; and Communications. Scott is the managing partner and portfolio manager of Sachem Head Capital Management, a value-oriented investment management firm based in New York. Prior to starting Sachem Head in 2012, he spent nine years at Pershing Square Capital Management, which he joined at its inception in 2003. Prior to Pershing Square, Scott earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2003 and was a vice president at American Industrial Partners, private equity firm, from 1999 to 2001. In addition to her work for Barron's Magazine, Carleton is also a panelist on Barron's weekly show "Barron's Roundtable" on Fox Business. Jackson Cummings

Prior to joining Wellington Management, Jackson was an investor at Salesforce Ventures where he worked on or led over 30 investments and led various equality initiatives, including deploying capital into black and underrepresented founders.

Zoe Cruz

Michael Carmen

Co-Head, Private Investments, Wellington Management

As co-head of Private Investments, Michael manages our diversified late-stage growth equity business that invests across technology, consumer, health care, and financial services sectors. In addition, he leads the firm’s effort to deepen and broaden private investment capabilities to support growth and ensure strong overall investment results.

Previously, Michael managed institutional portfolios in the Multi-Cap Growth styles, drawing on research provided by Wellington’s regional and global industry analysts and other global research resources within the firm. He has spent a large part of his career investing in diversified portfolios in the small- and mid-cap equity markets, and he authors papers on topics concerning investment trends in late-stage growth and small-cap equity portfolios. Minister of Economy, United Arab Emirates

H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri was appointed Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the new government structure approved in July 2020.

He is chairman of the General Civil Aviation Authority, UAE International Investors Council, and CSR UAE Fund’s Board of Trustees.

Prior to his appointment, H.E. Al Marri held important positions in the government as a senior, top-ranking official. He was the Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet since 2017, during which he was instrumental in strengthening the interdependence between the federal and local governments. In this role, he also spearheaded many initiatives to get the pulse of the people and know their sentiments, as well as build the UAE’s long-lasting relations with international organizations such as the World Economic Forum.

H.E. Bin Touq formerly served as the head of Securities and Commodities Authority, and was also the former Director General of the Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He was part of the high-profile team that was behind the launch of ‘Area 2071,’ the nucleus of the future envisioned in the UAE Centennial Plan 2071. Furthermore, the UAE Minister of Economy, in his previous post, took part in the unveiling of the Hatta Economic Zone development project and the relaunching of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.

In addition, he was the CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, enabling him to play a vital role in the successful launch of Dubai 10X and other initiatives of national importance. The Dubai 10X initiative, in particular, aims to strengthen the emirate’s bid to become the city of the future.

H.E. Al Marri is a member of the Boards of Directors of different federal entities. His memberships allow him to actively support the development of priority sectors in the country such as the Golden Visa initiative, which seeks to attract talented individuals from across the world.

Brett Harrison is the President of FTX US, a US-regulated cryptocurrency exchange. Prior to joining FTX US, Brett was Head of Semi-Systematic Technology at Citadel Securities, where he managed technology for the firm’s Options, ETF, OTC, and ADR trading globally. He began and spent the majority of his career at Jane Street, where he led the firm’s algorithmic trading system development. He also previously worked at Headlands Technologies as a senior software developer. Brett received his M.S. and B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard.

Zoe Weinberg is a Fellow at Schmidt Futures where she leads ex/ante, a tech design lab incubating technology to advance free & open societies. She previously supported the Reimagine New York Commission, helping New York State to build back. better from COVID-19.

Prior to Schmidt Futures, Zoe worked on ethics and policy at the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence and at Google AI. Previously she focused on fragile and conflict-affected states, working on the emergency response in Mosul, Iraq during the counter-ISIL operation in 2017, and at the World Bank (IFC) in over a dozen countries, including Somalia, South Sudan, and Liberia. Prior to the World Bank, she worked in Goldman Sachs’s alternative investment group. Her research and writing on national security law & policy has been published in the New York Times and Foreign Affairs, among other publications. She is co-host of the podcast Next in Foreign Policy.

Zoe earned her B.A. from Harvard University, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and an M.B.A from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where she was a Knight Hennessy Scholar.

He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding Battle, Tim was the President and a Partner at Lion’s Path Capital, a hedge fund incubator where he allocated capital to 30 fundamental and systematic portfolio managers since the launch in 2009. From January 2006 until 2009, Mr. Harrington was a Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Ventures where he managed a portfolio of Global Technology, Media & Telecom Investments. From February 2002 until January 2006 he was a Telecom & Media Portfolio Manager at Sigma Capital, a subsidiary of SAC Capital. Mr. Harrington graduated from Columbia College in 1998. He was a member of the Columbia University Judiciary Board as well as a member of the varsity crew team.
